Lights for the journey
We would be those who mourn the dead of wars and upheaval and observing their anniversaries. We are the guardians of their heritage. Each year, like today, we go back to this heritage as to a fountain from which we draw strength and inspiration. We are not reliving their deaths so much as remembering their lives and the heritage they left us.
