Parish Pantry
Trinity Pantry started out as a small help service for those who had simply didn't have enough to eat or who had met with some temporary crisis and no funds.
In 2006 the Pantry is a food assistance service providing for over 3000 people.
Entirely staffed by volunteers, the Pantry is open Monday to Friday from 12 noon to 3pm (except public holidays and in January when it opens Monday, Wednesday and Friday).
The Pantry is located at 874 Ann Street, Fortitude Valley, in the building on the corner of Ann and Brookes Street.
People who are in need because of some crisis or hard times don't have to make an appointment. Just come in the opening hours and bring identification. For general inquiries, the phone number can be found on the contacts page.
There is a selection of food normally available and people coming to the Pantry select the things they need from a 'shopping list', and they take the food away. There is no cost.
Can you help?
The Pantry depends entirely on donations and contributions of food to help others. Gifts of food (maybe a special collection at your workplace, school or parish) will help enormously. You can drop goods in to the Pantry or phone us to arrange a pick up.
Money helps us with the purchase of groceries and is always a commodity we value as well!! Our monthly shopping bill is not small.
Gifts of funds to the Pantry are tax deductible and can be mailed to:

Suitable volunteers are welcome too. Some training is available and volunteers always work in pairs. If you think you could offer 3 hours a month, it would be great. Simply e-mail us about yourself - see our contacts page.
